May is over and the Morrowind May Modathon 2020 celebrating the 18th anniversary of all-time classic TES III: Morrowind is coming to an end. Bought SotFS and am stuck at … It is in many ways superior to DS1 and DS3 in terms of mechanics, but in story not so much. All of the changes make the game world seem so … I see DS2:SOTFS as the definitive edition. I was really bummed with the original release of DS2 and never finished it. Maybe we should get a changes topic stickied.

But that's not a reason to be sad, oh no, let's instead rejoice at the more than 280 new mods that have been uploaded by their creators during the Modathon - that's quite the spike in mod uploads!

remember to play offline or/anf on a family shared account when modding the souls games. It can be found in shaded woods only in NG+ or after using an ascetic at the appropriate bonfire. If DS:R should have just taken the phantom and invasion system ( - the Soul Memory thing) it should make that game much better. Gower's ring of protection is actually one of those examples in vanilla DS2 (not SotFS). It isn't perfect but none of the games are.

Since this is inevitably going to be asked hundreds of times over the next few days.
Download Augur of Darkness.zip, extract contents ( 4 folders and a file) directly to your game directory (should ask to overwrite several files) thats it, launch the game and enjoy! New Game Plus is a mechanic of Dark Souls 2 that allows players to reset their journey but continue on with the same character, facing against tougher opponents and becoming stronger in the process. But I picked up SotFS recently and I can't stop playing it. I thought it was a pretty bland take on the Souls formula, and the game itself seemed rushed/unfinished.

3. Changes in SotFS that made you ragequit So i am not the best Dark Souls player but in regular Dark Souls 2 i was able to solo everything up to the Smelter Demon. Oftentimes, the loot will be changed for some (big) consumable souls (which is kind of a bummer).
