The UI makes it seem like the player is being added and the roster is showing as being saved but when I load the roster my created player is never there. I always create myself and have been able to use that created player in Franchise.

Once a franchise is made you can't make changes to the roster. You can ignore your route (the line the game tells you to run in). You'll have to make a new one. I ask because this is a deal breaker for me, I primarily play Franchise mode on this game since it was introduced and don't even want the game if I can't put created players in now.
