Hey all I purchased the 29w charger to charge my iPad Pro 12.9 since that 29w charger will charge faster. I have iPhone 7 Plus myself and using 12W charger all the time. The iPhone 8 Plus charges at the same speed as the 7 Plus when using the 12W iPad adapter. I had been using the 12w that came with the 12.9 just fine with the 7 Plus as well as a 6s Plus and a 6s. I know no iPhone does fast charging but the iPad Pro 12.9 does, at least I think it does. But the USB-C adapters, including the Pixel's, all perform the same and are a bit faster.
